Inspired by my friend Henry I have been listening to favourite songs on vinyl. Buying albums I used to own on CD and mp3. A pendulum of attention recovering an audio life. Focusing on British music, with frequent exceptions. One album in my early music journey had a sample in the middle that intoned “Turn the record over” as it was hand sized metal and plastic saucer this anachronistic message was easy to ignore. Now on the reissued vinyl, it performs a useful function. As if the appendix is observed digesting cheese flavoured puffed corn.

I Know Write
I have had a long pause in my ‘words on screen’ activities, relying on photos and videos by others to take up the slack. For the last few years, my daily events were in the, ‘rather forget’ category, now it feels like I can bring out the old chestnuts once again.
Rambling has not done me wrong before and it is time to ramble once again.
Today, desperate to get out of the house, I stopped into a cafe that didn’t require a bus ride. I think my hanging around annoyed the staff. This is a pretty cool hangout, but I will need to find others.
A massive bumble bee just got crushed!

Today I was watching this video and as it wrapped up, I recognised the spine of a book used as decoration.
