The film Oppenheimer is based on a book titled “American Prometheus” and whenever Prometheus is presented, the role of the vengeful gods is pivotal.
Politics fulfil the role of these malevolent, untouchable giants. Using persuasion and violence to achieve ends and shape present behaviour and delineate future paths. As we grow, change and view the world, our decisions on how to bind people together is our politics. The punishments that these gods unleash are tedious meetings.
